Le renforcement par inclusions rigides verticales est envisagé pour des ouvrages de types remblais, dallages, silos… lorsque le sol est trop compressible pour supporter sans tassements importants l'ouvrage à construire.(ce document compléte celui des colonnes ballastées. voir le lien ci-dessous:
